Black Dirt Theater is proud to present another hilarious season of Black Dirt Improv. The 2026 Season brings shows to venues in Hastings through May, with every performance on a SATURDAY. All venues have great drinks and food options - so come early! Black Dirt Improv’s 2 teams of performers are ready to entertain you, with some new performers joining in, and some returning familiar faces. Improv is a unique performance that is never the same, and it sure to leave you with a smile!

the history of BLACK DIRT IMPROV
In 2011, Black Dirt Theater started an improv troupe for the winter season. It started with a rotating list of six local performers and have grown into a professional troupe with a roster from across the Twin Cities of about 10 people in our Black Dirt Improv team.
