Ken Ludwig’s “BASKERVILLE” A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Get your deerstalker cap on — the play’s afoot! From multi-award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig comes a fast-paced adventure about everyone’s favorite detective solving his most notorious case. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson must crack the mystery of “The Hound of the Baskervilles” before a family curse dooms its newest heir. Watch as our intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying web of clues, silly accents, disguises and deceit as five actors deftly portray more than 40 characters. Does a wild hellhound prowl the moors of Devonshire? Can our heroes discover the truth in time? Join the fun and see how far from elementary the truth can be.

Audition Information
Auditions will be held at the Black Dirt Theater Office, 213 Sibley Street, Hastings, MN 55033. 
Street parking is available. 

Wednesday, September 11 / 6:30-8:30pm
Friday, September 13 -/ 6:30-8:30pm

Please prepare 2 short monologues (30 seconds to 1 minute) of contrasting dramatic & comic styles. Be prepared to read sides from the script as directed in the audition. Please arrive 5-10 minutes ahead of your scheduled audition time.

*If you cannot attend either audition date, you may submit a recorded audition to blackdirttheater@gmail.com. Please include a resume and headshot with your recording. Submissions must be received by Friday, September 13 at 5pm.

Baskerville will rehearse on M, Tu, W, & F evenings from 7-9:30pm starting on  Monday, September 16.
