We are always looking for additional help with productions' "behind the (virtual) scenes" tasks and responsibilities. Are you interested in working on Black Dirt Radio Theater projects? Please read the descriptions below and complete the form! We will reach out to you when opportunities arise!

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Director/Assistant Director: Select script for radio show/project; identify audio and/or video needs and share with Production Team; coordinate with Production Team on schedule for rehearsals/recording sessions; cast show; lead rehearsals; collaborate with Production Team as needed throughout process

Commercial Writing Team: Write original commercials for radio shows; collaborate with commercial writing team for editing and brainstorming; write original commercials for local businesses when sponsoring BDRT; attend Commercial Writing Team meetings as needed

Sound Effects: Work with Director/Audio Recording and/or Video Recording to identify sound effects needed for specific show; locate specific files for sound effects AND/OR record/assist in recording sound effects specific for show needs

Audio Recording/Editing: Attend rehearsals for radio shows; record scenes through Zoom; coordinate and collaborate with director editing needs for specific show; edit scene files together to create one file for whole show to send to KDWA

Video Recording/Editing: Attend rehearsals for shows and projects as needed; coordinate and collaborate with director for video/video editing needs for specific show or project

Production Coordination/Stage Management: Attend all rehearsals and recordings; support director in rehearsal by taking notes and monitoring time to keep to schedule; communicate notes and rehearsal reminders/Zoom links through rehearsal reports; make sure cast members attend rehearsals as schedule; attend production team meetings as needed
